Don't Be Scared, Homie: Diaz vs Noons 2

On October 9th, Nick Diaz and KJ Noons meet in the rematch that all MMA fans would say, "AWESOME" too.  We are talking about two of the best strikers outside of the UFC throwing not only their fists and kicks, but their rage and anger as well.   If you like Diaz you hate Noons, and all Diaz haters will root for a guy who knocked his last opponent out three different times; two of which were illegal punches.

The will be for the STRIKEFORCE welterweight championship.  Diaz vs Noons first fight took place at catch weight of 160 pounds.

X-1 World Events "HEROES": Vitale vs Hose for Middlewight Title

The top Hawaiian fight promotion, X-1 World Events, today announced the full fight card for its next incredible event, entitled "HEROES." This exciting fight card will feature a main event of X-1 World Middleweight Champion Falaniko Vitale putting his belt on the line against devastating KO artist Kala "Kolohe" Hose.

Also taking place at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena that night will be the much-anticipated second round of the X-1 World Light Heavyweight title tournament, as the pairings have been set. Russia's Vitaly Shemetov (7-7), coming off a brutal KO victory over Japanese MMA pioneer Shungo Oyama, will battle Hawaii's own Poai Suganuma (10-3). Also coming off a big KO win is South Korea's Sang Soo Lee (14-9), who will lock horns with California's Roy Boughton (4-0), an undefeated submission specialist. "HEROES" will also showcase two anticipated world title fights, as both the featherweight and bantamweight belts will be up for grabs.

UCC 3: Tri-State MMA Hosted by Jersey City's National Guard Armory

On September 10, 2010, Jersey City’s National Guard Armory will set stage to the next major Mixed Martial Arts event to take place directly outside of New York City– “UCC 3: RENEGADES.” This is the third event of the Tri-State area’s premiere professional fight series: Urban Conflict Championship (UCC).

The event will be produced and broadcast live from WWW.UCCFIGHTS.COM with coverage beginning at 8:00pm EST on September 10, 2010. The live web broadcast will be powered by Global Mobile Video, who specializes in cutting edge technology for mobile web broadcasting.

Headlining the fight card will be a featherweight matchup between Ryan “Are You Ready?” Roberts (13-9) who fought for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in early 2008, against Team BombSquad’s Anthony Leone (8-1) who has World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) experience, and is coming off the only loss of his career.
